Patrick Kennelly

Patrick gained his LLB at Otago University and has practiced law since 1984 and in Orewa since October 1987. His experience spans private individuals through to corporate organisations. He has appeared in a number of Tribunals and from the District Court through to the Court of Appeal.  He has been successful a matter dealt with on the papers in the Supreme Court as well.
He is a member of the New Zealand Law Society, its Family and Property Law sections and the Auckland District Law Society.
While Patrick is a firm believer in being practical and professional, he is known to take a compassionate approach when dealing with a wide variety of people. He has clients all around NZ and the world, including Ireland, Australia and Canada. Clients include private individuals, small businesses, and corporate organisations.
Patrick has lived on the Hibiscus Coast with his family since 1994 and enjoys the feeling of community in this beach-side town. He is a keen golf player.  He was previously chairman of the Peninsula Golf Club (now at Wainui) through the transition from Red Beach to Wainui as well as being a pennant golfer. He enjoys rugby and supports his old university town team – Otago and of course the Highlanders. He’s also known for his swift right cross in the boxing training he does to keep fit.

Shelly Moloney

Shelly is an experienced Registered Nurse who has spent the past 21 years working in the palliative
care and aged care sectors.
Shelly holds a Master of Health Sciences degree from The University of Auckland, focusing on
leadership, management, and change management and has recently completed a qualification in
auditing against the Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standards.
Shelly has held roles in Hospice as an educator, leader, and clinical nurse specialist as well as working
as a gerontology clinical nurse specialist and a Residential Care Home Manager, bringing not only
advanced clinical skills and experience, but is well acquainted with the aged care environment.
Shelly is passionate about making a difference and using innovative ideas and technology to extend
the reach of healthcare and free up time to care.

Max Reid

Max is a leader in his field and has vast knowledge and an impressive portfolio of experience gained through more than twenty years in various senior management roles across the health sector. Currently a Portfolio Manager with Whaikaha – the Ministry of Disabled People – and Manager of Dunedin Community Mediation (a voluntary mediation service) Max brings to the team over ten years senior management experience in the aged care sector, including residential aged care, retirement village and home and community support services.
Max holds a degree in Business Studies and an MA in Social Policy, and has lectured at both undergraduate and post-graduate level in the areas of health sector management, financial and strategic planning, conflict resolution and mediation, and change management. He holds a particular interest in health service redesign and lead a three-year review and redesign of the service delivery model of one of NZ’s largest NGO providers of mental health and disability support services.
 Max has previously held roles as a Policy, Research and Communications Advisor for Labour’s Economic Development and Associate Health Spokesperson, Dr David Clark, and as CEO of Kidney Health NZ. He brings to the team an unwavering commitment to quality and innovation in aged residential care.
